J.D. Power Names Ford No. 2 Non-Premium Brand In 2017 Initial Quality Study

Ford recently received a number 2 in the 2017 J.D. Power Initial Quality Study for non-premium brands. This is a new record for Ford as this is their best-ever ranking in the 31-year long study.  That’s not all, the Ford Mustang and Ford Expedition won quality segment awards, along with seven Lincoln and Ford models landing in the top 3 of their segments. Top quality honors!

Ford Motor Company has made many improvements over the past several years which include the SYNC 3 and EcoBoost engine technology on over 70 percent of their vehicles.

No surprise they landed an impressive ranking!

According to J.D. Power, In 2016, Ford improved 86 problems per 100 vehicles, jumping from 11th to 4th amongst all brands in the study. Today, Ford Engineers are continuing to improve by offering more models than any other full-line manufacturer in the United States with driver-assist features such as forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control (just to name a few).
